Tim Hodge - Master Sculptor and Stonemason

After graduating from the Canberra School of Art, Australian National University in 1979, I further developed and honed skills and techniques with master artisans in Italy, France, Belgium and Norway before returning to Australia in 1990. My experience is unparralelled having superior technical knowledge in the working and installation of all types and dimension stone. Today my clients include Australia's Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, National Capital Authority, various commercial builders and major developers.

National Workers Memorial

In May 2011, funding was provided for the design and construction of a national memorial in Canberra to honour and pay tribute to working Australians who have died as a result of work-related accidents, incidents and disease.

Engaged by the National Capital Authority to assist in the design of columns, sourcing state and territory granites nation wide, transporting and processing for the monument, for:

  • Letter cutting on eight columns,
  • Letter cutting on Mintaro slate paving,
  • Installation of columns,
